Changing Skylines

London’s skyline is changing, most visibly seen in the Docklands area of the city. For years, the City of London - the archaic landlord of the financial district - had refused many of the world’s investment banks the space and planning permission to build the flagship headquarters they required. Until that was, they shipped out to the Docklands in the 90s, with One Canada Square being the first icon of the new London.
